hello my career as an English teacher has started when i was at my second course of doing bachelor degree at university in 2010. i remember the very first words my supervisor said , learn the language as much as you can and study hard, because its your bread. now i know, its not only that, but much more benefits cross cultural communication can reward you with! So, in 2010 i got trained forsummer English camp based on AMES(american english school), where i was instructor(conducting classes, performances, drama classes). summer of 2011-2012 spend in United states, where got my first real teaching classes in High school. in 2013 started to work in High School in Ukraine, teaching English and literature. After graduation in 2013 was offered to teach in Language School in my home City and got certificate for teaching adults by Callan Method. in 2014 - 2015 had been working as an editor for american company 4 writers. Thus, for the last 6 years i have been enrolled into teaching by different ways and different means. in May 2016, i decided to change my life, my approach and to make a difference in China, bought a ticket and now im here, in i2. ready to share everything ive gained so far, share love and passion to English, and broden the outlook of my students! more than happy, more than privilleged to work on my personal development, skills and methods with you, Aaron David Screaton and FTs!

Great Abby, sounds like you have been building your career towards teaching for quite some time now. And yes its important that we recognise that simply understanding the mechanics of the language is not nearly enough when trying to achieve the goal of successfully fermenting language learning in our classroom. And its great that you have been involved in language learning through Drama and I cant wait to talk to you more about that as its something I really want to push here at i2.
