Hello, my name is Eline and I’m from the Netherlands. Since I was young, I have always been interested in different cultures and different languages. Therefore, I have learned to speak five languages: Dutch, German, Spanish, French and of course English.
After graduating from high school I started studying International Business Communication in the English language. For my studies I lived in Mexico for a year, which I loved. After my studies I returned to Mexico to travel and volunteer with street children. As volunteers we assisted the children with their school work and we gave one-on-one English classes. After that, I worked as an au pair for one and a half years in the South of France. This was an amazing experience as well.
Eventually, I decided to get my TEFL certificate and move to China, because I’ve always wanted to become a teacher and I love to work with children.

That was very sweet and succinct as introductions go, yet you managed to amaze us with the varying and differing contexts within which you have taught. I also think its really important to be multilingual in order to full understand and empathise with the learners we teach. Sound like the world has been your classroom, and I hope it continues to be so!
