Put something on the wall, draw something on the whiteboard, make music and put a mask on your face!
example: create a mask with lines.
first version the children come. i teach lines and he paint his mask
second version Different masks from different part of the world stuck on walls to make him move ask him:
which one do you prefer
Go and find your tools in the classroom Help me to put painting on the little pot
Learning lines: associate line and tone Curved (the voice's tone curve) straignt (the tone go straight and fast) etc.
dot (quick)
At the end, teacher and student can play the character and have fun talking in english.

Wow this is an amazing activity, so you get the kids to make masks from around the world, so you have allowed them to be creative and take ownership of the everything, they are in control. Then can use the language 'prefer'! Which of YOUR OWN work do you prefer? I think this could be done in Art class and in English classroom. They could also learn the language of countries this way, not just learn countries names for the sake of learning countries names, but have a cultural artefact or object to attach to that country giving a deeper meaning. Anything that forces the students use deeper processing cognitively will lead to longer retention of new language. I will be using this! Well done!
