Since coming to China I have been faced with some fairly difficult classroom scenario's, for example 1.5 hour Story telling class with a book that takes 5 minutes to read or 2 hours long drama classes for 6 x 3-4 years old kids for 5 days straight with the same kids. To say that you need to be creative with your activities is an understatement. In those scenarios you need to blend your classes with the full range of different activities including, song, dance, party style games, art and craft, and act out, often much of the craft needs to be pre prepared, I have literally spend days on end making masks, props and scripts for drama classes, and creating book specific flash cards and props for different stories.
I know this does not answer the question posed in the thread but I thought I would share this as an example of what can happen in sunny Chongqing and I believe I ticked most of the boxes ref ms Moon.
