The position of the teacher in the classroom is determinant to provide a good model to the students. It is the the main priority, for the teacher, to build trust and a good relationship with the students to encourage them and generate leaders. As children tend to imitate and emulate others, I do believe that having a leader in a classroom would really determine a positive influence on the children behaviour. I do believe that stimulate students through competition (games, activities) could be a great way to encourage them in establishing a natural leader in their group. The responsibility of a leader is to guide his people and propose them a correct model.
Having a leader in the class would solve various issues, such as lack of attention and interest.
